In the current exhibition, she uses the material Etalbond for her graphic technique – an aluminum composite panel, which is not a typical material in graphics. It is important to emphasize that her works do not have a paper medium, typical of a graphic exhibition, and the printed forms themselves are the final art object. When the graphic matrix is the final artistic product, it not only serves as a means of creating an image, but also as an independent form of art, unique and unrepeatable. Engraving on metallic gray gives the works an industrial look and raw aesthetics, which contrasts with the delicate color accents. This creates a balance between texture and fine details. The shine of the metal adds light reflections that change the viewer’s perception, including it in the context of the graphic narrative, as an added reality, which makes each work dynamic and authentic. This creates an additional sense of participation and interaction between the viewer and the work. The inclusion of text in the graphic series “LOVE IS” and “DOCK” provides context and history and creates multi-layered messages. The combination of text and graphic elements in the works contributes to the enrichment of the visual language and communication in cultural and emotional aspects. This approach distinguishes Kovač as an artist who constantly challenges herself in search of new ways of expression. Her works not only demonstrate her technical mastery, offering unique opportunities for working with textures and colors, but also show her skills in adapting and transforming the materials she works with to achieve the desired emotional and aesthetic impact. The structure thus built emphasizes the different aspects of the artist’s work, emphasizing her ability to express human states and emotions through her art. This innovation and striving for experimentation make Emanuela Kovač one of the leading figures in contemporary Bulgarian graphics and establish her as an artist who is constantly looking for new ways of expression and challenging herself as an artist. Emanuela manages to create works that are not only visually impressive, deeply meaningful and multi-layered, they resonate with the audience on a deep emotional level.
