The concept of this exhibition revolved around a sentence from Bulgarian folklore that I read in an ethnological article. It said that “The sky is an unwoven shirt”. This made me think about the fabric of reality and the threads that weave everything around us. For me, these threads are the relationships we have with other people, as well as with trees, stones and animals. Everything is connected to everything and influences each other. This is how my idea was born to draw the collective body of humanity through these lines or streams that flow through the figures in the paintings, creating a network between them. Emotions, memories, words and stories flow through this circulatory system, like a common, invisible blood, and are assembled into what I call invisible mechanisms.

Most artists today are advised to choose a narrow genre and technique in order to be more easily recognizable and create their own niche in the market. I refuse to limit myself to one style, because I am aware that artists should not conform to the art market, but quite the opposite. My works are extremely diverse and encompass all possible mediums – from oil painting and ceramics, through video animation and photographic collage, to poetry and performance. In recent years, I have been trying to integrate action into all my creative expressions. I believe that nothing can replace the spark that living art brings when the author stands before you with his body, his gaze and his voice. I do not like the stillness of objects in the gallery space. I like when something happens, there is some action. Poetry is also always present – as a spoken word in space or words written on canvas and paper, on the walls of the gallery
