Dimitar Genchev
studied in Sofia and Utrecht, the Netherlands, he has exhibited in the Netherlands and Germany, winner of national and international awards, participant in residency programs in the Netherlands. This is the second exhibition that our gallery organizes with him, in December 2021 we showed an exhibition at “Raiko Alexiev” with seven authors, one of whom was Mitko. His art has a different aesthetic. For me, it is a radical reconstruction of forms and spaces, a reformation of interdependent relationships in the real environment. The random, the secondary become the center, the pawn becomes an officer. The reconstruction of the objects and their color rediscover standards in a new environment and destroy stereotypes. Sometimes smoothly and lyrically, sometimes documentary, and in some cases with more trends.

Some moments are so intimate that they are on the verge of being bearable. And the most difficult to bear are those related to children and childhood.
